How to setup Sai5 to be 50%/50% Duty Cycle on Frame clock

Hi,

I'm using Sai5 in master mode. So Sai5 provides Bit and Frame clock.

But If I record more than 2 channels in I2S mode, the Frame clock is a pulse, not 50% down/ 50% up.

How Can I configure Sai5 to be:

SND_SOC_DAIFMT_I2S | SND_SOC_DAIFMT_NB_NF | SND_SOC_DAIFMT_CBS_CFS

And also provide a 50% duty cycle at Frame Clock?

Thanks

Lucas

Hi Lucas

I am afraid duty cycle of Frame Clock is not configurable as

described in Datasheets, for example sect.3.9.11 SAI/I2S switching specifications

i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor Datasheet for Consumer Products

One can try to use external Frame Clock configuration.

Best regards
igor
