How to make jpegs with hardware acceleration

Hi NXP community,

i am using a MX8MQEVK Developer Board and i want to make jpegs from yuyv Buffer with hardware support.
So i tried encoder_test from the unit tests and this is not working yet. Which dev node should i use?

Isn't it also possible to use VPU with vpu_wrapper? And where is the libfile located?

Hello Daniel,

For encoder supported only VP8 and H.264 as described in Table Supported Standards,

Profiles and Levels i.MX8M Reference Manual.
