How to make MIPI-DSI work correctly on iMX8M-EVK ?

Hi sir:

I have i.MX8M EVK board (MCIMX8M-EVK)  and a lcd panel with MIPI interface. but when i  connect lcd to the board by MIPI-DSI connector,and flash android_O8.1.0_1.3.0_8M_image_8mq.tar.gz images with boot-imx8mq-mipi-panel.img, it does not work.

what else should i do to make it work ok?

i have done like the Quick Start Guide illustrated, but it can not work.

U-Boot > setenv bootargs console=ttymxc0,115200 earlycon=imxuart,0x30860000,115200 init=/
init androidboot.console=ttymxc0 consoleblank=0 androidboot.hardware=freescale cma=1536M
androidboot.primary_display=imx-drm firmware_class.path=/vendor/firmware
U-Boot > saveenv

because i  use a new  aou 5.5 panel, how should I modify the dts file? 

shuold i refer fsl-imx8mq-evk-dcss-rm67191.dts? 

and how should i modify it?

if you don't use nxp mipi dsi oled display, you can refer to the mipi dsi driver for your new panel, refer to the chapter 6.4 MIPI DSI of imx8m linux reference manual.
