How to load ddr3 ram on i.MX8?

I was going through the datasheet of i.MX8. It mentions "Supports 32/16-bit LPDDR4-3200, DDR4-2400, and DDR3L-1600". I have a yocto-morty setup ready. Can I know how can I change configurations to  DDR4-2400 / DDR3L-1600. How can I know current clock speed of DDR RAM. Is it through debugfs?
