How to interconnect i.MX8MM with FPGA

Hello, everyone, I am developing a project using i.MX8MM. FPGA is required as an external memory device in the project, and Nandflash is also necessary.I read the entire manual carefully, and it seems that I did not find an EIM interface suitable for connecting to FPGA.Is there a good solution to this problem?

We have already used PCIe on other modules, so the PCIe interface cannot be used. In addition, ecspi cannot meet the communication bandwidth requirements.So flexspi may be the best choiAce. 

According to i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev. 2, 08/2019, we did not find the specific details of how to communicate with FPGA. Do you have any application cases or  the information can be referenced.

for FlexSPI usage one can look at i.MXRT resources (it has the same module)

one can consider other standard interfaces like flexspi, pcie, ecspi.
