How to integrate M4 image containing for example a hello-world M4 demo into secondary loader firmware (imx-boot-imx8mmevk-sd.bin-flash_evk) in yocto?

could you please clarify task, do you mean "secondary firmware"

in sect.6.1.5.3.2 NAND flash boot flow ?

i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor Reference Manual

This is used for primary and secondary boot images intended for A53 core,

not M4.
