How to implement tickless timer in imx6q?

Hi,

I am using I.mx6q Sabre-sd board. I am trying to implement a bare metal OS.How can i implement a tickless timer. Which module should i use for this? What is the procedure? Please help..

We never tested tickless mode on i.MX6 boards.
