How to enable video for own BSP

Hi all,

I basically did my own BSP with the profile of "Test and development". After flashing the kernel and rootfs onto the SD card. It can boot up the board.

However, I can only see the serial console output, but nothing is shown on the HDMI monitor. The monitor's status is "No Signal". Is this normal or do I need to explicitly include the HDMI driver somewhere?

Thanks

Hi. You are correct. I didn't set the bootargs in Uboot. I have fixed this. Thank you...

what is the kernel used?

and what´s the bootargs?

if you use FSL kernel you must include video information in bootargs in order to see it on HDMI. Take a look on release notes
