How to enable LCD display through MIPI-DSI in U-Boot for i.mx8mq?

Hi all,

I'm developing a product based on imx8mq-evk platform and must display splash LOGO on booting time. So I must enable LCD display in U-Boot but I can't find proper information.

I found Add_uboot_logo_using_mipi_lcdif_rm67191.diff patch from IMX8MQ + DSI host controller support at U-boot  message, but it was too old version so I can't find files to be patched and patching is failed.

To prevent flickering display LOGO during change to the kernel mode, the path through eLCDIF is best than DCSS.

In our previous product, we are using imx6d/q and displaying LOGO on booting time already.

Thanks.

thomas
