On my target board running linux, iMX7 Dual, the /etc config items are stored on a squashfs file system. I want to change the default root password, what is the easiest way to do that?
I am using the manufacturing tool to deploy to the target.
I do no quite understand your question. However, I think is not possible to change the password with MFGtool, you can change it before building the image.
