How to change 16bpp to 18bpp in Linux BSP

Hi Community team,

We got a case that customer reported issue with display on i.MX8QX b0 devices.

We did some test, such as video playback, GPU test and Camera application, no issue found. But seems we got some sw gaps, they set bpp as 18 while we set it as 16 as default, and I can not set bpp to 18 by 'fbset -g 1920 1080 1920 1080 18' which says 'Invalid argument', seems we need some modification in driver or dtb also.

So, could you help on this?

Customer use LVDS directly, no adapter. And we confirmed issue is not bpp related, you can close this session.
