How to Change the virtual channel in imx8

Hi

I am using rocko(kernel version: 4.9.88) distribution in  yacto BSP for IMX8M EVK board with default ov5640 camera. Currently the default camera uses the virtual channel zero for receiving the mipi data.

I have two questions,

1. How to change the virtual channel? Where do i need to modify in kernel source? 
2. Can imx8 receive the data from VC0 & VC1 simultaneously? if yes, what is the procedure to do that.?

Hi Vimal

For i.MX8M MIPI virtual channel is not used, so the driver will not split the video from each virtual channel.

For dual camera one can check

Dual camera support for i.MX8M EVK
