How is posible Developing M4 applications in i.mx8?

I'm working with the imx8 and I need to have an IDE to create and developer applications for the M4. What IDE do you have to use?

The problem is that it is not possible for me to use IAR since I do not have a license.

Is it possible to configure any other IDE without a license?
