How can I debug the M4 core on a imx6 using JTAG?

I am trying to debug the M4 processor, according to  below discussion, I should be capable to use the j-link debugger using a script file but I dont understand is this method is for the IAR or the ds5, are there a guide for debug the M4 using the JTAG interface?

How to configure Real View ICE and RealView debugger to work with i.MX6 SoloX

I am using Rowley Crossworks, an eclipse based IDE with ARM gcc, could I use it to debug the M4 with a j-link debugger?
