Hi Everyone,

I need a help to reconfigure pins of i.MX6 of Wandboard.

In Wandboard Solo and linux ubuntu downloaded from wandboard site the pins E24 and E25 are configured as GPIO6_31 and GPIO3_27, but I need to use these pins as UART2_TX and UART2_RX.

How do I do this?

I need to re-compile the kernel but what files I need to change? What parameters?

Thanks,

Gabriel

Hello Gabriel!

You might also want to take a look on the document below, its an iMX53 Developer's Guide.

On "Chapter 4 - Using the IOMUX Design Aid" you will see how the IO MUX tool can help you.

On "Chapter 13 - Configuring the IOMUX Controller (IOMUXC)" you will see how and where to change the IO MUX of IMX53.

Hello Gabriel!

I believe the post below might help you, it is based on iMX53, but the changes should be similar to the wandboard I believe.
