HOW to flash EMMC in imx7 with android image?

hello all,

  i am working in custom board based on imx7 evaluation board by NXP,

now i am trying to flash EMMC with an android image (i am using marshmallow with linux kernel version 4.1.15) i come across different document where they said for specific version we have to use specific mfgtool.

can anyone tell me which mfgtool i should use and please provide me complete documentation also?

also we are using Swissbit emmc (SFEM008GB1EA1TO-I-GE-111-STD) so in order to work with this do we need to do anything extra?

Please refer to the i.MX Software and Development Tools | NXP . You can find the mfgtool for the marshmallow in this link.

Regarding eMMC, you can use the eMMC as long as it is in compliance with the imx7 eMMC. Please go through the specification of eMMC supported by NXP for imx7.
