Hi all,
the i.MX6's HDMI controller supports two signals for the CEC interface.
CEC interface is based on the "one-wire" standard and the IO pin (if drived by the controller and not by a GPIO) is "K2", (HDMI_TXDDC_CEC).
i.MX6 has another signal related to the CEC interface. It is placed on the "W4" and "H19" balls (is muxed). The name of the signal is: HDMI_TX_CEC_LINE
Can anyone expplain its function?
Freescale "MCIMX6Q-SMART DEVICE BOARD" ev board doesn't even connect it.
Thank you all!
Alessandro
Hi allessandro
HDMI_TXDDC_CEC (K2) is dedicated HDMI ground signal, so it is just
grounded on i.MX6 side. More details you can read in HDMI specification.
Best regards
chip
