          Our SOM is the coral board, which linux kenel version is 4.14.98.

           Your link address is for 5.10. Is the firmware is compatible?

           And this firmware is set to decrease drive strength ?

      We follow your example address and check i.MX Linux® Release Notes, Rev. L4.14.98-2.0.0_ga, 05/2019. We can download firmware-imx-8.1.bin successfully.

        But we can't find any notes about HDMI  firmware version control and HDMI drive strength control information.

      How to check hdmi firmware version? We need HDMI lower drive strength to test and pass radio emission verification.

We can download firmware-imx-8.x.bin files and try to replace original firmware file then re-flash imx8 image. But we can't find any difference about HDMI drive strength.

 Can someone can help us to control HDMI drive strength ?

sect.15.5.3.10.2.380 HDP Lane Configuration register (lane0_phy_hdp_tx_ctl - lane3_
phy_hdp_tx_ctl)    i.MX 8QuadMax Applications Processor Reference Manual

phy_hdp_tx_ctl_1_0 Tx De-emphasis:

Level 0 ( 0.0dB) results in larger voltage swings
Level 1 (-3.5dB)
Level 2 (-6.0dB) results in smaller voltage swings

phy_hdp_tx_ctl_5_4 Tx Voltage Swing:

Level 0 (400 mV) results in smaller voltage swing
Level 1 (500 mV)
Level 2 (600 mV) results in larger voltage swings
