HDMI display not working in i.MX 8M Quad EVM

Hello Everyone,

I brought the i.MX 8M EVM and boot the default Android image flashed in the eMMC. It looks Android OS is booted successfully but the I cannot see the HDMI output in my 1080P HDMI monitor. But as per the Quick start guide, Android logo will appear on the HDMI display by default. Can anyone help me on this issue?

Hi,

Can you check with different 1080P monitor. It seems there are some issues with few monitors. I got it working with 1080P Dell monitor.

According to it: "Note that the HDMI output resolution is 1080P ", so check

that used hdmi supports that resolution.

We saw Android P9 can fixed more 1080p monitor can't work issue. (Base on i.MX8M EVK and the same 1080p monitor)

Do you know and patch code for Android O8 ?
