Have you solved this problem。 I had a similar problem. When the resolution of the two screens is not the same, the logo will be displayed abnormally. If so, how did you solve it.

Hi @Dhruvit

I doblue check our setting in HDMI and LVDS is  corretly.

1.  The HDMI and LVDS need to setting the same resolution.

Display " Yocto LOGO" in HDMI and LVDS  is full screen, right?

2. Do you have any example code (1)setting the different resolution in HDMI and LVDS (2) Yocto Logo is full screen?

3. Our customer request: The different resolution in HDMI and LVDS and Yocto Logo is full screen.

Thanks

Clayder

Hi @charleshuang,

Sure, I can help you with that.

Yes, the HDMI and LVDS need to be set to the same resolution in order for the Yocto Logo to be displayed full screen on both displays.

One can write code for the same. one can use to set the resolution in HDMI as well LVDS.
after setting the resolution same for the both of the interfaces

I hope this helps!

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @charleshuang,

I hope you are doing well.

->Please make sure the display one is using is supported by the evk.
->Please make sure the external display that is being used, in that the resolution and required configuration is made correctly.

-> Please make sure to check the display resolution configuration in the device tree for hdmi and lvds both the interface.

->I have mentioned the location for the reference, from where one can check the resolution or other configuration that is need to be set, please take a look at it.
<linux_src_code>/Documentation/devicetree/bindings/imx/ldb.txt (for lvds setup)
<linux_src_code>/Documentation/devicetree/bindings/ (for hdmi+different vendor setup)

->Please make sure the connection is well made and the pin configuration is also correct.
Please refer to section 13.9 HDMI TX Controller from RM for more details on it.
