Hi,

We are using SAI3 interface of iMX8M to connect to Audio transceiver. Audio transceiver has requirement of continuous Frame Sync clock (TXFS) on I2S interface. Can you please let us know how to get continuous clock on TXFS pin of SAI3 interface in iMX8M.

Regards,

Anirudha

Anirudha,

Is there a problem with the SAI or are you asking a "how to" question?

Aniruda,

I am still not quite clear on the question. when the 8M is the master, the clock and frame sync are operational when the device is xmitting data. as soon as the data stops, the clocks also stop.

to keep the clocks running, you will need to xmit something like a "digital mute" which would be just zeros.

thanks,

mark
