Hi to all iMX8M users and administrators,
while the evaluation of the iMX8M Mini and Nano CPU I use the GIT Yocto Sources to generate a card image for the Eval-Kit. For an own Hardware I used this card image and only changed the Kernel and U-Boot.
These two parts I'm able to build from the Kernel and U-Boot GIT Sources. It’s is easy going and fancy to try any changes in both source bases.
Till today I use the card image from the Yocto project build. To compile Kernel and U-Boot I've also generated the SDK, of course.
Now is my question how to generate the rootfs and also an own card image from this SDK without Yocto? I didn't find any manual regarding this issue and no other question/answer in the community. But I think I’m not the first who tries this.
If I take a look into the SDK content it should be possible to do this and maybe, it's just strait forward copy-past the content into a card image.
Did anybody something like this or is there a helpful manual?
