Where are experiencing some Galcore driver crashes that are not recoverable until reboot with a imx8mp processor with 2GB of RAM.
Is this a known bug?

Yes try to change the CMA memory value, the Graphics pipeline requieres at least 4GB to have graphics on MX8MP so that the reason.
