GPU validation and 4K video on GPU issue on 5.4.27 zeus build

Hi Folks,

I m working on i.mx8mqevk and i have enabled GPU from device tree and vpu as well.
I have connected HDMI display.

to validate GPU offloading i tried gputop and used glimagesink plugin with gst-launch-1.0 .
below is my pipeline

gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=file:/big_buck_bunny.mp4 video-sink="glimagesink"
so is it right way to validate offloading GPU.

Also after this i tried video of 4k which on CPU was taking to much lag on GPU with same above pipline but i did not see any difference on performance.

gputop in above case showed gpu offloading but from the visual result were same i.e for CPU and for GPU.

This same video run smooth on x86 machine on vlc player

video info
4k_Samsung_UHD_demo_DElandscape.mp4

Further media info from VLC for same video is attached here.

So, why 30 fps with 4k on GPU is not working smoothly ?
Is it the right way to check GPU offloading ?

Please let me know if further info is required.
