I would like to know more about the electrical characteristics of GPIO1_18 on the i.MX6 SOLO processor like maximum input current and maximum voltage.

Okay thanks, but why are there 3 "Typ" voltages for these GPIOs? Can we put any of these 3 or they are GPIO with "programmable" voltage?

Hello,

You can put any you want to; the "typ" values mean that they are the typical value for the listed voltage rails within the range (from 1.65 to 3.6V) that you can select from.

Hello,

For the GPIO DC Parameters, please refer to table 4.6.2, and for the voltage rails for GPIO supply voltages, please refer to table 8 of the datasheet, which in this case, NVCC_SD1 corresponds to the GPIO1_IO18: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/IMX6SDLIEC.pdf

Hope it helps!

Ivan.

Thank you! I have two more questions regarding Table 4.6.2:

I don't understand why the IO current limit for these GPIOs is lower when Vin=0V than when Vin=OVDD.

Moreover, if I want to connect one of these GPIOs to a pullup resistor with for example a voltage of 1.8V and I want to limit the current (as written in the table) to 1µA, does it mean that this pullup resistor should have a value of 1.8M? This value seems strange.

Hello,

No, for the maximum supply currents, please refer to table 10 of the datasheet: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/IMX6SDLIEC.pdf
