GPIO Current on iMx8M nano

Good Morning,

I'm designing a new product with IMx8M Nano.

Considering LED interface, I plan to use some GPIOs to control Alarm/power/etc LEDs.

What is the best approach for connection ? Current flowing from IMx8M or draining into IMx8M ? What are the current limits for both approachs ?

Hello,

The first configuration (at the top) seems ok, but only keep in mind the maximum current supported by the GPIO as found in the datasheet.

Ivan.

Thanks for prompt answer!

But I do not found this current information in datasheet.. I found only the information below, but it is rated in uA and probably is not the correct one... For the connection you select I need values at mA level to turn On a LED. Where I can found the Input max current info ?
