The FreeRTOS examples of CM4 (evkmimxrt1160_freertos_hello_cm4) provided with the SDK does not work on  i.MX RT1160 Evaluation Kit.

Could you solve this issue?

Did you use the GUI Flash tool or the debug mode?

In my case, it works in debug mode but I cannot use the GUI Flash tool.

I used the debug mode, this link will take you to the mcuxpresso user guide, look into chapter 15 for more information about the GUI Flash Tool.

The example works for me, please make sure all the jumpers are connected correctly. Check this Getting Started to see jumpers J5, J6, J7 and J8. In case this doesn't work, read this post to regain access to the debugger.
