We are considering using a processor from the i.mx series (6,7,8,9). When I researched FreeRTOS, I saw that it supports Cortex-A series. Questions I want to ask:
1) Is it possible to develop real-time applications using only FreeRTOS (without embedded linux) on a processor from the i.mx series?
2) When I searched for the SDK, I saw that MCUXpresso is not supported. Is a free IDE available for the i.mx family?
