Hi Guys,

We are working in IMX6ULL. In our custom  board, we had only one CANBUS. We needs to do CAN Send and Receive simultaneously. We are getting some packets loss while doing so. If FlexCAN is half-duplex, I thing this might be expected. So, can anyone tell whether FlexCAN is half-duplex or full-duplex?

Hello Syed Ahmed,

My apologies for the delay. You can find details on what makes FlexCAN different than regular CAN on the following link:

https://www.nxp.com/products/product-information/ip-block-licensing/flexcan-controller:FLEXCAN-CONTR...

FlexCAN, however, remains half-duplex as is also CAN. (You will see mention on CAN FD but this refers to CAN with flexible data rate)

I hope this helps!

Regards,
