Error: MCUXpresso SDK import failed. Selected file/folder is not a valid GCC ARM Embedded SDK

Hi I tried importing repository for i.MX RT1064 Evaluation Kit. I am using SDK_2_14_0_EVK-MIMXRT1064.zip . While importing the zip file in VSCode "Error: MCUXpresso SDK import failed. Selected file/folder is not a valid GCC ARM Embedded SDK". In the current supported devices in the MCUXpresso for Visual Studio Code webpage, Software details section > Supported Devices, I checked 

• i.MX-RT1064 is present.
  
  I have installed required softwares using MCUXpresso Installer.
  Can you help me with this?

Thank you for your reply. My host system is Ubuntu. So I installed MCU Xpresso IDE and tried to build example application. It was successful. Thank you for your help.

Just for double check, could you please check that the SDK you are trying to import/add to VS Code is for ARM GCC/MCUXpresso for VS Code instead of MCUXpresso IDE?

You could download the ARM GCC/MCUXpresso for VS Code SDK here. In the Build SDK section choose Toolchain/IDE as ARM GCC/MCUxpresso for VS Code before clicking on Download SDK.
