ESAI of TDM slot for i.MX6

Hi,

I use ESAI with the following specifications.

・TDM 14 slot transmit／receive

・Use Pin  of  ESAI_RX_CLK, ESAI_RX_FS, ESAI_RX_HF_CLK, ESAI_TX0, ESAI_TX5_RX0, ESAI_TX_CLK, ESAI_TX_FS,

ESAI_TX_HF_CLK.

Question.

1)I use only ESAI_TX0, and can you transmit 14 TDM slot?

　Please tell me the method to transmit TDM 14slot if it is failure.

2)I use only ESAI_TX5_RX0, and can you receive 14 TDM slot?

　Please tell me the method to receive TDM 14slot if it is failure.

Hi Soichi

number of slots (words) is defined by TDC field ESAI_TCCR

register. Example for ESAI can be found in SDK ..drivers/audio,

pay attention to "channel_number" parameter. Description in

Chapter 9 Configuring the ESAI Driver iMX6_Firmware_Guide.pdf
