Dual audio stereo output on iMX6

Hi All.

I have a design where I need two displays (LVDS) output from the iMX6, together with two individual audio outputs (one for each display).

Is it possible to do this with the iMX6?

Can I have two codecs interfaced to the iMX6?

(As I read the manual there is only one I2S interface).

Do someone have a link to design implementing this?

Hi Martin

yes, this is possible, i.MX6DQ has three SSI modules.

I am not aware of such design, however one can look at attached

document Chapter 8 Porting Audio Codecs to a Custom Board,

describing adding new codec.
