Driver requirements for AVB on MCIMX6DLAICPU2

Hi ,

I have MCIMX6DLAICPU2( CPU card ) and IMXAI2ETH-BRC ( BroadR-Reach phy ).

I have integrated the patch given by nxp to use the above mentioned phy , but I am confused whether the driver which I have is sufficient for AVB or not?

Whether the PTP (1588 driver ) is sufficient to start with AVB or not?

Also I didn't find any FQTSS ( 802.1QAV ) functionality there which should be in driver side implemented .

If there are any possible driver documents for EAVB , please let me Know.

Hi Abhirup

there is no full AVB support in linux and I am afraid that patch is not sufficient.

For full AVB implementation please apply to

Thanks for your help igor.

I know there is a requirement of AVB stack but also driver plays key role in AVB development. I just want to know AVB implementation in driver side.

After that I can evaluate whether to go with professional services or not.
