Does iMX6 suppoort HE-AAC LATM format in gstreamer plugin?

We have build up a ubuntu 11.10 enviroment by L3.0.35_1.1.0_oneiric.tgz.

In this enviroment , we play multimedia by gstreamer , most format work fine .

But there have a format can't be parser and play , it is HE-AAC LATM.

Have any way to play this format on iMX6 by gstreamer ?

Do you download and install the AAC plus codec package?

We've install both packages IMX_AACPD_3.0.5_BUNDLE_CODA and IMX_MMCODEC_3.0.5_Bundle.

But it can't play audio about AAC LATM format.

1. Do the Freescale decoders support MP4 and/or M4A ?

    Mp4 and M4A are container, are not decoders. We have mp4 parser to support these containers. And we have AAC-LC, AAC plus for AAC format. we don't support AAC-LTP, AAC-SSR.

2. My interpretation is that they will only if AAC-LC was used to encode the audio.  Please comment on this.

    M4A may have other codec format, not only AAC.
