Hi

Does i.MX6 MIPI-CSI I/F can support non-continuous clock LPS mode ?

Yellow ---> MIPI_CSI_CLK

Green ---> MIPI_D0

non_con.jpg

Base on Debug steps for customer MIPI sensor.docx

3. Check every register of MIPI CSI-2 with MIPI_CSI_N_LANES ~ MIPI_CSI_DATA_IDS_2.

Tips:

  • In ov5640_mipi case (2 data lanes are used), the correct MIPI_CSI_PHY_STATE is 0x330 (and the bit 11 is jumping between 0 and 1, the value is jump between 0x330 and 0x300.

I think 0x330 and 0x300 is base on continuous clock LPS mode. Right ?

If non-continuous clock LPS mode , the value is 0x300 , 0x630 , Right ?

Hi Appolo

I think you are right, non-continuous clock is supported and

clock lane supports stop state.

Best regards

igor

Hi  igorpadykov

We can't see color bar in i.MX6 Display. (Just only block color in Display)

(System just only one MIPI_CSI. No parallel camera)

(My test command is

./mxc_v4l2_overlay.out -di /dev/video0 -iw 1920 -ih 1080 -ow 1024 -oh 768 -fr 30 -m 5 -r 0 -fg

IPU1_CSI1_DI , IPU1_CSI1_SENS_CONF , IPU1_CSI1_SENS_FRM_SIZE , IPU1_CSI1_ACT_FRM_SIZE is the same as demo board.

Does any register need to check ?
