Does i.MX27 support the 512Mbit LPDDR SDRAM W949D2DBJX5E?

Hello, I have used the SDRAM MT46H16M32LFB5-6 IT which is a 512Mbit, clock rate 166MHz, 4 Meg x 32bit x 4 banks LPDDR in my design previous, but now it is no stock. So I have to change it by using the W949D2DBJX5E as a replacement. The processor in my design is i.MX27, does it works when I connect to the W949D2DBJX5E which is a 512Mbit, clock rate 200MHz, 4 Meg x 32bit x 4 banks LPDDR?

In the other hand, do you have a list of SDRAM componet models or manufacturers that is supprted by i.MX27?

The SDRAM should be 512Mbit, 4 Meg x 32bit x 4 banks and the power supply is 1.8V.

If I change the clock rate from 166MHz to 200MHz, what changes should I do in my code?

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

Generally memory devices MT46H16M32LFB5 and W949D2DBJX5E look as

quite compatible. It is possible to use the second one with i.MX27.

(Perhaps some fine timing parameters tuning may be needed.)

Note, i.MX27 ESDRAMC supports DRAM devices up to 133 MHz.

I am afraid we do not have list of recommended DRAMs for i.MX27.

Have a great day,
Yuri
