Does USB OTG support part of the IMX6 Rom Code

Hi ,

I am working over the IMX6 solo based design in which Nand Flash is interfaced with the processor. USB OTG is exposed on the board so target can be programmed using NXP propreitory Manufacturing tools.

My question is as we are going to write the firmware over the Nand Flash using USB OTG. So I believe USB OTG support should be part of the IMX6 boot room code . Please let me know , if it not so.

Hello Aditya Nagal,

The ROM code does go into Serial Downloader mode trough the USB OTG interface as specified on the Reference Manual on the System Boot chapter. The ROM supports the USB OTG port for boot purposes. The other USB ports on the chip are not supported for boot purposes.
