Hi all,

I'd like to confirm about i.MX7D boot from uSDHC.

Q1.

If I don't need to detect whether SD card is attached or not, I only connect following signals to socket and i.MX7.

SD1_CLK

SD1_CMD

SD1_DATA0-3

Am I correct ?

Q2.

If Q1 is yes, you recommended to tie low the SDx_CD_B.

Am I correct ?

Look at the following:

"Should SD1_CD_B be pulled low for Wi-Fi over SDIO (i.mx6ULL)?"

Hello,

according to Table 6-45 (SD/MMC IOMUX pin configuration) in "System Boot"  chapter of i.MX 7Dual  Reference Manual,

Rev. 1, 01/2018,  CD_B signal  is used only for the uSDHC1.

Hi Yuri Muhin ,

Okay, I understand SD1_CD_B need for booting.

So is the following correct ?

Need card detection:            SD1_CD_B connect SD card socket

No need card detection:       SD1_CD_B tied low.
