Hi all,

I'm working on WEC7 on freescale's iMX53 based custom board.

While booting, sometimes color stripes appears on my display in bootloader (I mean, just after I switch on the board), and this will continue to remain on display,

and hence i will not get WEC7 desktop.

This issue observed 2 or 3 times out of 10 power on/off cycles.

Anybody faced such issue?

Any pointer on where could be the issue?

Thanks.

With regards,

Keshava

It seems a hardware issue. Did the board shutdown all the power when power off?

Hi keshav,

I'am facing a similar issue, whereas i get color patches after boot and white patches on display. But desktop loads properly on every power off & on cycles.

Can you please tell me how you solved it??

Thank you

Sriram

What's the boot log? Can you see any errors in the boot log?

What's the PMIC are you using?

Hi JiangJustin,

Thanks for reply.

In boot log I'm not seeing any errors. Anyway, I will check this and confirm.

PMIC - I'm using DA9052.

Any ideas?

Thanks again.

Regards,

Keshava

where did the boot stop? Can you attach the failed and normal boot log?

Hi JiangJustin ,

There is no difference in boot log. The board is booted completely. But LCD sometimes will show stripes in bootloader stage, and will continue and i will not see desktop.

This happens when i power on the board soon after i power off (ie: Fast power off-on cycle) sometimes. (2 to 3 out of 10)

Thanks.
