Disable ttymxc causes suspending kernel booting

Hello,

Yocto 1.7 is used to build kernel and rootfs as core-image-x11. Kernel boots successfully and results Matchbox-window-manager on display.

However, I'm trying to disable all ttymxc on I.MX6Q board by setting CONFIG_SERIAL_IMX as No ("n"). This makes kernel boot failed, stuck at "Starting kernel ...", only "Yocto project" splash is suspending on the display.

Could you show me if I did wrong? Please advice me more!

Please try to set "console=null" in u-boot options instead of disabling ttymxc.
