Difference uboot-fslc <-> uboot-imx ?

What's the difference between uboot-fslc and uboot-imx?

I'm trying to build an image based on yocto community-bsp. I see this one takes uboot-fslc per default. But I keep on getting -74 nand read errors with this version (old AND new versions). When I switch to a uboot-imx version, I have no problems at all, not with old, nor with newer versions.

So what's the difference? Are they not kept in sync? What can be the problem? What version to prefer?
