Hi, all

when debug HDMI in IMX6Q, I found that "Detected HDMI controller 0x0:0x0:0x0:0x0",

based on the question link as follows,

hdmi controller 0x0:0x0:0x0:0x0

it seems that if the part number of imx6 chip is MCIMX6Q4AVT10A*, the hdmi controller is not usable ?

is it right ? can any one help to double check ?

it seems that 3.0.35 version bsp has this issue, pls update to the latest bsp version.

Hi Guanqiong,

The version of BSP is 3.10.17, not 3.0.35. I will try to update it to  the latest one and try again.

BTW, based on my understanding, the hdmi controller identify reg should be read as long as the module is power up normally, even if the I2C for edid is not ready ?

is it right ? any other necessary conditions if we just want to get the correct identify reg ?

double confirmed from factory, "4" stands for automotive without vpu , supports hdmi too.
