Decode one or more h264 files to an X window?

I'm using the dual 12.04 wandboard image and am having trouble figuring out how to decode a file to an xwindow rather than v4l? Also, using the v4lsink, I can only decode one video at a time. Are these things possible with the latest i.MX6 drivers/etc. (even in another rootfs build)?

Hi Harvey,

You should use the video sinkers from Freescale: mfw_[isink | v4lsink]. Regarding the X system integration, I found this on the web
