Debian packages on imx8m mini evk linux image

Hello everyone,

I have been stuck for days. I couldn't install debian packages using apt-get.

Even I added the apt-get command in the linux image, I couldn't install any of the packages.

I want to install scipy using pip and failed because there are some libraries package that should be installed like

libatlas-base-dev and gfortran. 

Could anyone help ?

And if there is a complete debian image for the evk ?

unfortunately nxp does not officially support debian, one can look at third party:

or Build Ubuntu For i.MX8 Series Platform
