Data transfer from OTG to USB-A in imx6

Hi 

imx6 board having OTG for MFGTOOL (production)   and USB-A host.

is it possible to communicate with OTG and USB-A in imx6? (with two different boards)

is any configuration changed needed in kernel.

kindly advice how to achieve with imx6

i.MX6 uses otg port in device mode, mfg tool usage is described in presentation
