DRAM combination for i.MX8M QUAD

Hi,

We would like to use 12Gb DDR3L memory. Please let me confirm DRAM combination for i.MX8M QUAD..

I am thinking about following combination. Which case is available for i.MX8M QUAD?

Case.1 = Total 12Gb

i.MX8M QUAD <-DDRC Ch0-> 4Gb, x8bit  x 2pcs

                        <-DDRC Ch1-> 4Gb, x16bit x 1pcs

Case.2 = Total 12Gb

i.MX8M QUAD <-DDRC Ch0-> 4Gb, x8bit  x 2pcs

                        <-DDRC Ch1-> 2Gb, x8bit x 2pcs

Case.3 = Total 12Gb

i.MX8M QUAD <-DDRC Ch0-> 8Gb, x16bit  x 1pcs

                        <-DDRC Ch1-> 4Gb, x16bit x 1pcs

The Case 1 you've listed is not convenient in terms of PCB routing. The Case 2 and Case 3 are possible. Also, please note that better is to use the whole 32-bit DDR bus width to increase the memory bandwidth.
