Corrupt 'NCB/FCB' in NAND iMX7D Uboot

Hi,

I am examining NAND flash content.

I used mfg-tool to update the NAND flash.

When I dumped the first 1MB of flash of U-Boot partition (see attachment Mtd0_1MB_no_oob_20190418.bin) the contents of FCB appears to be garbage. It does not match up with documentation Table 6-37 i.MX 7Dual Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev. 1, 01/2018

I tried using "kobs-ng dump -v"

The response is incorrect NCB structure.

I am attaching mfg-tool update log.

There appears to be no error messages during firmware upgrade.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

The board boots up fine, just the incorrect NBC/FBC is worrisome.

If the board boots fine, it means that the NAND Flash structure, including FCB, is correct. So, please double-check.

Have a great day,
Artur
