Connecting TI ADC's ASI to NXP's SAI (i2s)

Hello,

It is our first project with audio devices, so I just want to make sure I understand the pinout connection. 

In our project, we are going to use two ADC audio devices on the same bus (TDM) connected to the IMX8 host processor.

If we want to connect the NXP's SAI bus to the audio ADC, should I use SAI_TXC or SAI_RXC? They are both IO, and it is really confusing.

The same question applies to SAI_TXFS and SAI_RXFS.

SAI_RXC. In particular one can look at Figure 1. I2S/SAI block diagram, it shows transmitter and
