Hi NXP,

I started creating a basic test project for my M4 core in the iMX8M Quad processor. So I followed the information in the NXP website, downloaded and use the "Config_Tools_for_i.MX_v10_x64", encountered some problem unfortunately.

First, I downloaded the SDK package from the MCUXpresso webpage, so far there is no problem until I finished up my pin config in the config tools for imx. There is a cheat sheets option to go through my whole process, no error at all, but the "Code not generated yet", see image below.

I went through every possible options on the pull down menu, plus each windows, nothing i can find.

In addition, there is no core available for me to choose when i open the export pins source files option, see next image.

Besides the MEK file, nothing is there. Please advise.

Also, i have some questions about this M4 development.

1. is MCUXpresso IDE not support the iMX8M Quad?

2. Which IDE is supporting the iMX8M Quad?

Please advise. Thanks!

Gil

Hello,

Please look at my comments below.

The V10 of the i.MX Pins tool does not support code generation for the CM4.
You may try using the V9.

MCUXpresso IDE does not support the iMX8M Quad.
Please use recommendations of the SDK documentation how to use it.
