On imx8mpevk board.
We currently use imxcompositor_g2d gstreamer element, fed with one video stream 1080x1920 60 Hz and one graphical stream 1080x1920 from appsrc.
Without graphics, video stream runs fine at 60 Hz. But when adding graphics, framerate drops dramatically to a few Hz. Even if resolution of graphical stream is decreased to 640x320, the issue occurs.
Is there any limitations of compositor with framerate ?
